Neff and Lynch Win Academic Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – MaryKate Neff and Margaret Lynch earned awards following their graduation from Princeton.

Neff, a Chemistry and Biological Engineering major, was selected as the George J. Mueller Award winner. That award is given to honor the graduating senior who most evidently combined high scholarly achievement with quality of performance in intercollegiate athletics.

Lynch, a Geological major, was honored with the Sigma Xi Book Award, given to a senior elected to the Princeton Chapter of Sigma Xi, the national society for recognition of scientific research.

Neff saw time in 60 games for Princeton, registering 17 goals and seven assists. She was a three-time All-Ivy player and two-time All-Region nomination. Lynch appeared in 54 games for the Tigers. Both players won two Ivy titles and went to two NCAA Final Fours.
