Princeton Rowing Has 23 Named To IRCA Scholar Athlete Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers had 23 combined rowers named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Scholar Athlete Team.
In order to be named a "scholar athlete", rowers and coxswains must have met the following criteria:
The heavyweight team had Mark Abramovitz, Julia Campbell, Jake Intrater, Tassilo von Mueller, Julian Coleman, Ryan Beeler, Frederik Johne, Gordon Johnson, Harril Saunders, Will Stocovaz, Eleanor Bauer, Dan Gitelman, Jens Clausen and Chloe Smith-Frank named to the team. The men's lightweight unit had Samuel Breckenridge, Sydney Edwards, Gianni Pompili, John High, Marcus Jonas, Riesa Cassano, Nick Wooldridge, Tyler Skow and Rhys Drout honored.
In order to be named a "scholar athlete", rowers and coxswains must have met the following criteria:
- Athletes from all IRCA Member Schools are eligible
- Athletes must be in second year or more of eligibility
- Athletes must have competed in your program's top 3 boats during the current season or raced at the 2021 IRA Championship
- Athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA through fall semester
