Sommerfeld and Pushner Reach Women's Lightweight 2- Final At U-23 World Rowing Championships

RACICE, Czech Republic – The women's lightweight team will have two rowers racing in their respective finals at the U-23 World Rowing Championships.
Cecilia Sommerfeld '25 (Germany 2-) with Antonia Michaels won their heat by 5.64 seconds over Turkey to nab a spot in the final.
Bonnie Pushner '24 (United States 2-) and her teammate Lindsey Rust easily won their repechage (7:43.64) to also move to the 2- final.
The two countries will square off Ukraine, Italy, Peru and Turkey in the final set for July 10th at 9:30 a.m.
"It's awesome that Cecilia and Bonnie have advanced to the 2- final," said Princeton head coach Paul Rassam. "I can't wait to if one of them can bring home a medal!"
