Men's Basketball Announces 2021-22 Schedule

2021-22 Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team announced its schedule for the 2021-22 season Thursday.
The Tigers will play 13 non-conference and 14 Ivy League games, with 14 contests taking place inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
Along with playing in the Asheville Championship in a field that includes South Carolina, Minnesota and Western Kentucky, the Tigers will also take on a pair of teams that played in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, Oregon State and Drexel.
"I'm beyond excited to get the 2021-22 season underway," said Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson. "We're continuing some old rivalries and competing against some great teams. Our guys have been working hard and can't wait to get started in November."
Princeton will open its season at home against Rutgers-Camden on Friday, November 9. It will then make the trip to Asheville, North Carolina, to play in the Asheville Championship where it will take on South Carolina on Friday, November 12. The Tigers will then match up with Minnesota or Western Kentucky on Sunday, November 14.
The Tigers return home to host Marist on Wednesday, November 17, before heading out west to Corvallis, Oregon, for a contest against Oregon State on Sunday, November 21. After returning east, Princeton will then make the short trip to Monmouth on Wednesday, November 24. On Sunday, November 28, Princeton will host Fairleigh Dickinson before traveling to Hempstead, New York, to face Hofstra on Wednesday, December 1.
Two-straight home games follow for Princeton as it hosts Drexel on Saturday, December 4, then Bucknell on Tuesday, December 7. The Tigers play at Lafayette on Saturday, December 11, before wrapping up their non-conference slate with two-consecutive home games; Princeton hosts UMBC on Monday, December 13 then Kean on Tuesday, December 21.
Ivy League play begins in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Sunday, January 2, at Harvard. A four-game home stand follows; Princeton hosts Columbia on Friday, January 7, Cornell on January 8, Brown on Saturday, January 15, and Pennsylvania on Monday, January 17.
A trip to Hanover, New Hampshire, for a contest against Dartmouth on Saturday, January 22, follows before the Tigers host Yale on Saturday, January 29. Two straight games on the road follow for the Tigers, as Princeton plays at Cornell on Friday, February 4, and Columbia on Saturday, February 5. On Saturday, February 12, the Tigers host Dartmouth before playing games at Brown on Friday, February 18, and Yale on Saturday, February 19.
Regular season play wraps up for Princeton at home against Harvard on Saturday, February 26, then at the Palestra against Penn on Saturday, March 5.

This initiative allows for Princeton fans and supporters to provide active-duty service members and veterans an opportunity to attend a Princeton Men's Basketball game.. For only $6 a ticket, you can sponsor a Princeton service member free -- along with their families – with a FREE ticket as a thank you for their service. Please note that these tickets are not tax deductible.

- The University's current visitor policy (found here) states that all visitors attending an indoor University-sponsored event, public performance, varsity and athletics event, and religious service must be vaccinated with no exceptions. Please note that per this current University policy, children under 12 years of age may not enter any campus buildings or attend any indoor events at this time.
- Masking that covers the mouth and nose is required at all times regardless of vaccination status.
- Social distancing is recommended, when possible. Parties that arrive together can sit together.
