Tigers Drop Six Against Bucknell in Break from Ivy Play

The win was Princeton's third in a row, and in that run, the Tigers have outscored Delaware, Yale and Bucknell a combined 14-1 to stand 8-1-1 on the season.
Princeton opened the scoring five minutes in when Marissa Hart sent a pass forward for Lily Bryant, and Bryant's shot was too strong for Bucknell keeper Jenna Hall to get a handle on.

Five minutes later, Hart sent it forward for Gabi Juarez, drawing keeper Hall out of the goal. Juarez sent it around Hall and in to put Princeton up a pair.

Just 1:42 later, Tatum Gee sent a pass along the endline and Juarez headed it home to put Princeton up 3-0.

With three minutes before halftime, Amy Paternoster made it 4-0, putting a shot on net that Hall got a hand on but couldn't bring down.

Bucknell got on the board 16-plus minutes after halftime on an Abby Gearhart goal, but Princeton answered less than three minutes later when Ryann Brown found Alexis Hiltunen charging toward goal, and Hiltunen threaded one inside the left post.

Not a minute later, with just less than 25 minutes to go in the game, Paternoster had her second of the night when she won a ball inside the 18 and sent it past a drawn-out Hall to make it 6-1.

Rookie Tyler McCamey played the 70 minutes in goal to pick up her third collegiate win, and Ella Gantman closed it out with a shutout 20 minutes.
Princeton will return to Ivy play Saturday at Dartmouth in a 1 p.m. start.
