Luoma of Women’s Volleyball Named to Towson All-Tournament Team

TOWSON, Md. – Junior Avery Luoma of the Princeton University women's volleyball team was honored for her outstanding play at the Towson University Tournament, as she was named to the All-Tournament Team Sunday.

Through three matches, Luoma led Princeton in kills with 32 and kills per set with 3.56. She also was also third on the team in blocks and blocks per set with 10 and 1.11, and added 20 digs and 2.22 digs per set.

Luoma started the tournament off with career-highs across the board. She added eight kills, six blocks and six digs against Loyola University Maryland on Friday, September 3. Against Towson, an NCAA Tournament team the past two seasons, on Saturday, September 4, Luoma re-set her career-high in kills with 17 kills and had .517 hitting percentage. She also finished with six digs and two blocks. Earlier that morning against Morgan State University, Luoma re-set her career-high in digs with eight and added seven kills and two blocks.
