USTFCCCA Tabs Men’s Track & Field No. 8 in National Rankings

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its first installment of the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track & Field Rating Index for 2022, and the Princeton University men's track & field team checked in at No. 8.
The Tigers earned 68.14 points to earn the No. 8 ranking.
Most recently, the Tigers competed at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational on Friday, January 21, and Saturday, January 22, in Annapolis Maryland, a meet that saw senior Andrei Iosivas set a new school record and the second-best score in the nation in the heptathlon, as he tallied 5715 points. Additionally, senior Michael Phillippy set a new program record of 21.31 in the 200, while two other Tigers produced school all-time top-10 performances; sophomore William Doyle in the 400 (47.46, No. 4), and sophomore Andersen Dimon (48.0, No. 9).
Princeton will compete next at HYP on Saturday, January 29, at 11 a.m. in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
