Women's Water Polo Heads To Philadelphia For Contest Vs. La Salle Sunday

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers head to Philadelphia to take on the La Salle Explorers on Sunday afternoon (5 p.m.)
Princeton is 2-2 on the season with victories over No. 21 California Baptist and Iona at the UC-Santa Barbara Invitational. The Tigers had tough losses to No. 18 UC-Santa Barbara and No. 9 UC San Diego by one goal each.
Jovana Sekulic was named Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Rookie of the Week following an outstanding weekend in California after a 14-goal outing in four contests. Nicole Kresich is second on the squad in points with five goals and seven assists. Kaila Carroll (seven), Meera Burghardt (seven) and Kayla Yelensky (six) also have at least five tallies each.
La Salle's season gets underway this weekend with a trip to Bucknell. Princeton is 2-0 all-time against the Explorers.
