Women's Volleyball Set to Take on Brown & Yale

1. National Leaders: Winners of 10-straight matches, The Tigers are national leaders in a pair of statistical categories; kills per set (14.92) and assists per set (13.80). Senior Lindsey Kelly is also the national leader in assists per set (11.93). Additionally, Princeton ranks fifth in the nation in hitting percentage (.310).
2. Ivy Leaders: Along with leading the nation in assists and kills, the Tigers' .309 hitting percentage is also a conference-best. Senior Avery Luoma leads the Ivy League in points (4.49) and kills (4.22), while senior Cameron Dames tops the conference in digs (4.67) and freshman Lucia Scalamandre in blocks (1.28).

Award Winners: Princeton have been featured prominently in the Ivy League weekly awards in 2022, with freshman Scalamandre claiming her third-straight Ivy League Rookie of the Week award on Monday, October 10. Scalamandre is not the only Tiger to have been named Rookie of the Week, as freshman Valerie Nutakor received the award on Monday, September 19, and Monday, September 12. Luoma has also been named Player of the Week twice; on Monday, September 19, and Monday, September 5.
4. In The Record Book: With 1,363 digs in her career, senior Dames currently ranks No. 5 all-time in school history. She sits one spot behind Head Coach Sabrina King, who tallied 1,441 digs in her playing career at Princeton.
5. High-Level Competition: Brown, who were Ivy Champions in 2021, are 8-6 overall and 4-1 in Ivy play, most recently taking down Harvard, 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-18) on Saturday, October 8. The Bulldogs, the only other undefeated team in Ivy play. Are 13-1 overall and 5-0 in conference matches. In the last match, Yale defeated Dartmouth, 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-17) on Saturday, October 8.
