It'll be Princeton's third Ivy League game of the season when Brown comes to Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium on Saturday, and it'll be a big one.

Pride: The Brown game is the team's Pride game. The Princeton Athlete Ally organization will be on hand with information for attendees, the first 200 fans will receive a Pride flag, and the team will wear Pride warmup shirts and wristbands.
The Ivy race: Brown is the lone 2-0 team in the Ivy, and with Princeton at 1-1, a Tiger win would pull the team toward the top of the standings, perhaps into a tie for first place, depending on the outcome of Harvard's (1-0-1 Ivy) visit from Cornell Saturday. A win would also give Princeton a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bears for the league's automatic NCAA bid that could come in handy depending on how the rest of the season plays out. Other than Yale (1-1), Princeton still has chances for head-to-head wins against the other teams even with or in front of it in the standings, both within the following two weeks, at Columbia (Oct. 15) and at home against Harvard (Oct. 22).
Shutouts: Since allowing a goal early in the Yale game, Princeton has strung together a shutout streak of 264:41 entering Saturday's game. The back-to-back complete-game shutouts, coming against Bucknell and Dartmouth, are Princeton's first consecutive shutouts of the season. Ella Gantman has accounted for 135:00 of the current streak, while Tyler McCamey has for 129:41 of it. The Bears are coming off a shutout as well, getting past Columbia 1-0 last Saturday in Providence.Â
Youth leaders: Pietra Tordin is the reigning Ivy Player and Rookie of the Week after a two-goal, five-point performance in Princeton's two 2-0 wins last week against Bucknell and Dartmouth. If she finishes the season as the team's goals leader, now with six goals, she'd be the first Tiger freshman to do that since Tyler Lussi '17 in 2013. Tordin and sophomore Heather MacNab, each of whom scored in the Dartmouth win, have combined for 11 of the team's 17 goals this season, with MacNab at five. Of the six players who have each added a goal to the team total of 17, three are freshmen (Kelsee Wozniak) or sophomores (Lily Bryant, Kate Toomey), and 16 of the 17 goals have come from non-seniors.Â
The series: Princeton is looking for its first win over the Bears since 2017 as Brown has won the last three meetings. Brown leads the all-time series 21-18-4. Brown has at least one current player who scored a goal in each of those three wins. Claire Myers had what became the winning goal for Brown in the 79th minute of the team's 3-2 win in 2018. Ava Seelenfreund had the lone goal in the 81st minute of Brown's 1-0 win in Providence in 2019. All three goal scorers from last season's 3-1 win in Providence are back, in Brittany Raphino, Kayla Duran and Seelenfreund. No current Tiger has scored a goal against Brown, and no current player from either team has played in goal against the other. Seelenfreund (six) and Raphino (five) have accounted for 11 of the team's 20 goals this season.
