Junior Sarah Fillier and Claire Thompson '20 will represent Canada in December's installment of the Rivalry Series with Team USA.
Fillier, Thompson to Compete in December Rivalry Series Games vs. USA

After helping Canada to an Olympic gold medal last winter, Princeton alumna Claire Thompson '20 and junior Sarah Fillier were announced as part of Canada's roster for the next two Rivalry Series games, first on Dec. 15 in at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev., near Las Vegas and then on Dec. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, home of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings.
Fillier last competed for Canada at the 2022 IIHF World Championships in Denmark, helping the Canadians to a second consecutive gold medal in September. Thompson played in the three Rivalry Series games in November held in the Pacific Northwest. A medical school at NYU, the Rivalry Series games in November marked Thompson's first competition for Canada since winning Olympic gold in February. Fillier remained with Princeton during the November Rivalry Series games and currently leads the team with eight points as she continues her climb up Princeton's career records list. With most of two years left to go, Fillier has 122 career points, more than halfway to the program record of 218, has 78 career assists, already seventh in program history and more than halfway to the record of 122, and is closing in on 50 career goals, entering this weekend's ECAC Hockey series at Rensselaer and Union with 48.
