Women's Track & Field To Open 2022-23 Indoor Season at Joe Handelman Invitational

Meet Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track & field team officially opens its 2022-23 indoor season on Saturday, December 10th, at 10:30 a.m. with hosting the Joe Handelman Invitational.
Led by Head Coach Michelle Eisenreich, the Tigers will pursue their 10th Ivy League Indoor Championship.
The Tigers will return several key athletes back on to this years' roster as well as welcome some fresh, new talent to the team.
At last years' Ivy League Indoor Championships, senior Maggie Hock earned First Team All-Ivy League honors in the 800 meters after placing first in the event and recording the second-fastest time in school history 2:05.86.
Sophomore, Siniru Iheoma earned First Team All-Ivy League honors in the shot put after a first-place finish. Iheoma impressed at last years' championship after a 15.18-meter heave that was good for fifth-all time in school history.
Tia Rozario also earned a First Team All-Ivy League selection, after winning the triple jump with a leap of 12.54 meters, the second-best all-time in school history.
The team of Paola Rodriguez, Tsion Yared, Mena Scatchard, and Hock were named First Team All-Ivy League after winning the 4x800 meter relay. They finished in 8:49.48, the seventh-fastest time in school history.
Fiona Max earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors in the 3,000 meters after finishing second and recording the all-time No. 3 time in school history, 9:14.53.
Madeleine Wood was also named Second Team All-Ivy League in the high jump, after she finished as a runner up and cleared 1.77 meters, third all-time in school history.
Princeton also welcomes 15 newcomers ; Maisha Atkinson, Daphne Banino, Madeline Cramer, Shea Greene, Julia Jongejeugd, Alexandra Kelly, Peyton Leigh, Makenna Marshall, Morgan Monesmith, Tessa Mudd, Katelyn Peterson, Ella Rubinshtein, Georgina Scoot, Stella Vieth, and Nicole Woods.
