Women's Water Polo Extends Win Streak To Six With Two Victories Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's water polo squad improved its winning streak to six with two dominating decisions over the VMI Keydets and No. 24 Bucknell Bison at DeNunzio Pool.
No. 21 Princeton 19, VMI 9
Princeton shutout the Keydets over the first 9:04 of game action, scoring the first eight goals. The Tigers would go on to lead 11-3 at the break, score the first four tallies of the second half and cruise to a dominating victory.
Goals – Burghardt 3, Mallery 3, Yelensky 2, Carver 2, Kresich 2, Pang 2, Larkin, Fraipont, Houlahan, Sekulic, Stewart

Leading 2-1 two minutes into the game, Princeton proceeded to score 10 goals in a row before Bucknell could answer. The Tigers were aided by four Meera Burghardt goals, with six other Tigers finding the back of the net en route to a 14-3 win.
