The first event of the spring season is in the books for the Princeton women's golf team, as the Tigers finished 10th at the Columbia Classic Presented by Moon Golf on Monday.

The event included six teams in Golfstat's national top-40 ranking. No. 26 Virginia Tech won the event at +16, one stroke in front of No. 30 Texas Tech. Oklahoma State's Isabella Fierro won medalist honors at -2, two strokes in front of Virginia Tech's Becca DiNunzio and Texas Tech's Amy Taylor at even par.

Tiffany Kong led Princeton at +12, tying for 27th overall.

Princeton will return to competition at the Wofford-hosted Low Country Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C., beginning March 18.
