Tigers, Liu Sweep Low Country Intercollegiate Titles

Winning a team tournament title for the first time this spring and the third time during the 2021-22 school year, the Princeton women's golf team cleared runner-up USC Upstate by 13 strokes on Sunday at Moss Creek Golf Club in North Hilton Head, S.C.
Pacing the Tigers to the team title was rookie Victoria Liu, who won medalist honors for the first time in her Tiger career and became the second player to win an individual title during the 2021-22 school year, as Tiffany Kong won the Lady Blue Hen title in October.
While Princeton was the only team under 900 strokes, at 888, Liu was the only player in red numbers for the weekend, finishing at -2 to win by four strokes over runner-up USC Upstate at +2. Princeton was one of three Ivy teams in the field with Yale fourth and Columbia fifth.
Princeton will return to competition at the Hoya Invitational April 9-10 at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.
