Raunak Khosla Defends His 400 IM Title in Successful Day Three at Ivies

PRINCETON, N.J. – On the Third Day of the Ivy League Championships, the Princeton University men's swimming and diving team set two school records, along with 12 top-10 school performances.
Raunak Khosla won the 400 IM for the second straight time, setting a new school record with his time of 3:41.75. The Tigers set a new program record in the 400-medley relay as well, recording a time of 3:07.28.
The Tigers remain in second place with 1024 points, only 26 points behind first place Harvard.
1000 Freestyle
Dylan Porges finished second in the 1000 freestyle, his mark of 8:55.68 a new personal record. Meanwhile, John Ehling placed seventh with a time of 9:02.31, good for sixth all-time in school history.
Hunter Kim (9:18.21) was 19th.
400 IM
With a NCAA B cut time of 3:41.43, Raunak Khosla earned first place in the 400 IM. Khosla's time of 3:41.43 is a new school record, besting his own time of 3:41.75. Peyton Werner finished in fourth with a mark of 3:47.60, landing him fifth all-time in school history.
Hunter Kim touched first in the B Final and ninth overall, his time of 3:49.97 placing him ninth all-time in school history
100 Butterfly
Tyler Hong (46.74) finished fourth in the 100 butterfly, followed by Max Kreidl (47.09) in sixth.
During Prelims, Hong recorded a time of 46.64 which is second all-time in school history. Kreidl also registered a better mark in prelims, going 46.94 and moving into seventh all-time in school history.
200 Freestyle
Nicholas Lim earned third place in the 200 freestyle, his time of 1:34.80 landing him third all-time in school history. Max Walther finished right behind Lim in fourth, and sits fourth all-time in school history with a mark of 1:35.12. Meanwhile, Billy Swartwout (1:36.58) placed eighth in the A final. His time of 1:36.48 set in the prelims puts him tenth all-time in school history.
Jonathan Pollock (1:37.54), Max Hunger (1:38.33) and Adell Sabovic (1:39.10) all swam in the B final, placing 11th, 14th and 16th respectively.
100 Breaststroke
In a speedy 100 breaststroke, Josh Brown took sixth place in the event. However, his time of 52.99 places him second all-time in school history. Brian Lou (53.48) touched just after Brown in seventh. Lou's time in the prelims was slightly better at 53.41, landing him fourth all-time in school history.
100 Backstroke
Coming in second place in the 100 backstroke was Tyler Hong (47.18), followed by Brett Feyerick (47.58) in fourth.
Both swimmers recorded better times in prelims, with Hong clocking in 46.71 and Feyerick going 47.55.
3-Meter Diving Consolation Finals
George Callanan was the lone Tiger in the 3-meter diving consolation finals, taking first place with a total of 357.80 points
400 Medley Relay
Placing second in the 400-medley relay, the quartet of Tyler Hong, Raunak Khosla, Nicholas Lim and Max Walther combined to go 3:07.08, setting a new school record and besting the previous mark of 3:09.20 set by En-Wei Hu-Van Wright, Jack Pohlmann, Ben Schafer and Sandy Bole in 2016.
