Men’s Track & Field Moves up to No. 7 in USTFCCCA Rankings

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its newest edition of the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index Monday, and the Princeton University men's track & field team moved up to No. 7.

Earning 74.77 points, the Tigers moved up two spots from No. 9.

Most recently, Princeton competed at the Dr. Sander Invitational in New York, New York, from Friday, February 4, until Saturday, February 5. The Tigers set a pair of Ivy League records, with senior Christian Brown going 7.76 in the 60 hurdles, and junior Sondre Guttormsen clearing 5.75 meters in the pole vault. Guttormsen's mark of 5.75 meters currently stands as the No. 2 mark in the nation, while Brown's time of 7.76 ranks No. 14 in the 60 hurdles.

Princeton will be in action next at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from Friday, February 11, until Saturday, February 12.
