No. 19 Princeton Women's Water Polo Finishes West Coast Trip At LMU Invite

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 19 Princeton women's water polo team takes part in the Loyola Marymount Invitational this weekend.
The Tigers take on No. 18 LMU at 2:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. PT) and Biola at 5:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. PT) on Friday. Princeton battles Cal State East Bay on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. PT).
Princeton is 15-4 overall and 2-2 on its West Coast trip. The Tigers defeated No. 25 CSUN by a goal before a 12-11 double overtime loss to No. 21 San Diego State. Head coach Derek Ellingson's squad fell to No. 9 Long Beach State before an impressive seven-goal comeback victory against Concordia.
Jovana Sekulic paces the offense with 48 goals in just 15 games. Kaila Carroll leads the team in points with 35 goals and 23 assists in addition to her team-best 24 sprint victories. Kayla Yelensky has also added 30 tallies while Meera Burghardt is right behind her with 27 goals. Other players with at least double digits in scoring include Rachael Carver, Nicole Kresich, Kate Mallery, Laura Larkin, Annie Robinson and Grace Houlahan. Isabel Zaller has 123 saves in 19 games.
