Men’s Track and Field Completes Day One of Competition at the Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas – The Princeton University men's track and field team earned a couple of first place finishes on day one of the Texas relays, along with three top-10 finishes.
In the 400-meter hurdles timed final, Taraje Whitfield (54.50) placed 16th as William Doyle (56.34) took 32nd.
Sam Rodman secured ninth place in the 800 meters, with a time of 1:51.30.
Three Tigers placed in the top-7 in the 1500 meters, with Harrison Witt (3:45.34) crossing the finish line first, followed by Duncan Miller (3:47.00) in third and Ethan Reese (3:58.51) in seventh.
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Ed Trippas earned first place with a mark of 8:49.11.
