Five NCAA Championship Qualifiers Highlight Sunday's Morning Session

Patrick Glory, Quincy Monday, Travis Stefanik and Luke Stout all won their semifinal matches to advance to the finals at the EIWA Championships on Sunday at Cornell, with the final session beginning at 3 p.m.
Nick Kayal, Danny Coles, NCAA qualifier Marshall Keller, Nate Dugan and Matt Cover will all wrestle for place, tying a program record with nine placewinners at the 2022 EIWA Championships, even with the 1975 team.

Princeton brought nine wrestlers into the final day. Here's where each stands heading into the afternoon session:
125: Patrick Glory
Top-seeded Glory was a 17-2 tech-fall winner in 5:34 against fourth-seeded Joe Manchio of Columbia. Glory, a junior, earned his third NCAA Championship bid with the win, and he will wrestle Cornell's second-seeded Vito Arujau in the final to try to become the fourth Tiger in program history to win three EIWA titles.
133: Nick Kayal
Sophomore 10th-seed Kayal was a 6-3 winner over Brown's 14th-seeded Nicky Cabanillas in the consi of four before falling to Cornell's fourth-seeded Dom LaJoie 7-2 in the consi semis. Kayal will wrestle Army West Point's 11th-seeded Richard Trainor for fifth. Just two bids were available for the EIWA at 133, with those going to the wrestlers who made the championship final.
141: Danny Coles
Coles, a freshman seeded eighth, fell to Franklin & Marshall's seventh-seeded Wil Gil 10-5 in the consi of four and will wrestle Hofstra's 14th-seeded Justin Hoyle for seventh place. The EIWA has four bids allocated at 141, going to those competing in the first-place and third-place matches.
149: Marshall Keller
Keller, a junior seeded 16th, defeated four higher-seeded opponents in the consolation round to earn his first NCAA Championships bid, getting wins over Harvard's seventh-seeded Lukus Stricker in the consi of four and a 7-5 win over Army West Point's fourth-seeded PJ Ogunsanya to make the third-place bout.
157: Quincy Monday
Monday, a junior seeded second, earned his third NCAA Championship bid with an 8-6 win over Penn's third-seeded Doug Zapf in the semifinals. Monday will wrestle Navy's fourth-seeded Andrew Cerniglia for his first EIWA title.
174: Nate Dugan
Dugan, a sophomore seeded 10th, fell to Army West Point's sixth-seeded Ben Pasiuk in a pin in 4:19 and will wrestle Columbia's fourth-seeded Nick Fine for seventh place. The EIWA has four bids allocated at 174, going to those competing in the first-place and third-place matches.
184: Travis Stefanik
Stefanik, a junior seeded second, won his third NCAA Championship bid by defeating Hofstra's third-seeded Charles Small 8-5. Stefanik will wrestle Cornell's top-seeded Jonathan Loew for his first EIWA title.
197: Luke Stout
Stout, a freshman seeded third, had a 6-4 sudden-victory win over Cornell's second-seeded Jacob Cardenas to earn an NCAA Championship bid in his first try. Stout will go for his first EIWA ittle agianst Binghamton's top-seeded Lou DePrez.
HWT: Matt Cover
Cover, a sophomore seeded eighth, was an 8-0 winner over Columbia's 13th-seeded Daniel Conley before falling to Penn's fourth-seeded Ben Goldin 4-0 in the consi semis. Cover will wrestle Hofstra's third-seeded Zachary Knighton-Ward for fifth. The EIWA has four bids allocated at heavyweight, going to those competing in the first-place and third-place matches.
