Women’s Track and Field Sets Two Top-10 School Marks at the Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track and field team delivered another great performance, setting two more top-10 school marks.
Nia Mosby turned in a time of 55.70 in the 400 meters, placing her eighth all-time in school history. Meanwhile, Liliana Cohen traveled 3.75 meters in the pole vault, tying her with Bianca Reo '12 for ninth all-time in school history.
Also competing in the 400 meters was Paola Rodriguez (57.39) in sixth, Grace Lanouette (57.72) in eighth and Samantha Anderson (58.19) in 10th. In addition, Hanne Borstlap (3.85 m) earned first place in the pole vault.
In the 100 meters, Olivia Hee crossed the finish line first with a time of 12.23 seconds.
Seven Tigers competed in the 200 meters, including Adelaide Asante (24.88) in second, India Ingemi (24.92) in third, Brianna Mponzi (24.97) in fourth, Harlowe Brumett-Dunn (25.24) in sixth, Arianna Smith (25.25) in seventh, Olivia Hee (25.60) in 11th and Paola Rodriguez (26.26) in 18th.
Seven Tigers also competed in the 1500 meters, including India Weir (4:24.09) in third, Fiona Max (4:27.81) in fifth, Abby Loveys (4:28.38) in sixth, Mari Noble (4:29.45) in ninth, Lexi Allen (4:36.71) in 11th, Maggie Liebich (4:37.89) in 13th and Lucca Fulkerson (4:38.48) in 14th.
In the 4x100 meter relay, the team of Brianna Mponzi, Grace Lanouette, Casey Burton and Harlowe Brumett-Dunn placed second with a time of 47.02.
In the throws, Luisa Chantler Edmond set a new personal best in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.90 meters. Madeline Wolford (45.51 m) placed fourth in the same event. Wolford also competed in the discus, taking third with a throw of 35.74 meters. Lastly, Oluwatise Okeremi took fourth in the javelin with a distance of 32.05 meters.
In the field events, Casey Burton (5.40 m) finished second in the long jump while Tia Rozario (11.85 m) earned second place in the triple jump.
Up next: The Tigers will travel to Coral Gables, Florida to compete in the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational from Friday, April 8th to Saturday, April 9th.
