No. 21 Women’s Water Polo Draws Saint Francis in the Opening Round of the CWPA Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 21 Princeton University women's water polo team will face Saint Francis in the opening round of the CWPA Championships, hosted by Bucknell University.
The game is set for Friday, April 22nd at 2:30 p.m. Should the Tigers win, they will face the winner of Harvard/Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, April 23rd at 1:00 p.m.
Princeton finished the regular season with a 19-9 record, going 8-4 in CWPA conference play. In their last weekend of action, Head Coach Derek Ellingson's squad went 1-2, defeating No. 22 Brown 10-6 while falling to No. 19 Harvard (12-11 in 2OT) and No. 7 Michigan (16-6).
Kayla Yelensky has a team-high 83 points, including 47 goals and 36 assists. Meanwhile, Jovana Sekulic is the team's leading scorer with 69 goals and Rachael Carver leads the team in assists with 41 helpers. Isabel Zaller paces Princeton with 193 saves in 28 games.
