Five More Top-10 School Records Fall for Women’s Track and Field

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. / LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track and field team competed in two separate competitions on Saturday, adding five more top-10 school performances to the record books.
Starting with the Virginia Challenge, the Tigers delivered two top 10-times in the 200 meters, with one more coming in the 100-meter hurdles.
Three Tigers placed in the 200 meters. Nia Mosby (23.95) in sixth, Grace Lanouette (24.14) in eighth and Brianna Mponzi (24.59) in 18th. Mosby's and Lanouette's time rank second and fifth all-time in school history respectively.
Caroline Timm finished sixth in the 800-meter invite with a time of 2:05.99, good for fifth all-time in school history. Meanwhile, Maggie Hock placed eighth, her time of 2:06.36 moving her into sixth all-time in school history.
Lily Parris finished 14th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.13, tying her with Lauren Barber '11 for fifth all-time in school history.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Arianna Smith (1:00.29) placed eighth while Adelaide Asante (1:03.40) took 22nd.
Paola Rodriguez (2:12.41) was 34th in the 800 meters.
In the triple jump, Tia Rozario finished 13th with a leap of 12.23 meters.
Siniru Iheoma placed ninth in the shot put with a toss of 14.98 meters.
In the high jump invite, Madeleine Wood secured ninth place with a distance of 1.66 meters.
Moving onto the Rider Invitational, Maggie Liebich finished first in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:31.67. Additionally, Madeline Wolford placed third in the hammer throw with a distance of 46.91 meters.
Up next: In addition to participating in the Penn Relays from April 28th – April 30th, the Tigers will also compete in the TCNJ Invitational from April 29th – April 30th.
