No. 21 Women’s Water Polo edged by Harvard, 11-9

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 21 Princeton University women's water polo team fell 11-9 to the Harvard Crimson, Saturday afternoon at the Kinney Natatorium. It's the third time this season that the Crimson have gotten the better of the Tigers.
The game began as a back and forth affair, with Harvard and Princeton both trading goals. The two squads were deadlocked at two-all, before the Crimson scored three in a row to take a 5-2 advantage. The Tigers would add one back and trail 5-3 after one. The deficit would balloon to four, with Harvard leading 9-5 at the half. The Tigers managed to close the gap to two in the fourth quarter, but were unable to complete the comeback.
Goals: Yelensky (3), Burghardt (2), Carver (1), Houlahan (1), Larkin (1), Sekulic (1)
Saves: Zaller (4)
Up next: The Tigers will go on to face the loser of Michigan/Brown in the third-place game tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
