Liu Eagles, Leads Princeton into Wednesday's Final Round at NCAA Regionals

Victoria Liu is within a stroke or two of an individual bid to the NCAA Championships as the final round gets set to begin on Wednesday at the Stanford Golf Course.
Liu eagled the par-five 12th hole on the way to an even-par 71 in Tuesday's round.
The top four teams and top two players not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, set to begin May 20 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Entering the final round, USC (-12), Stanford (-8), LSU (-5) and Purdue (+8) and Northwestern (+8) are in or tied for the top four spots. Depending on how the fourth-place tie would be broken, Northwestern's Jieni Li (-2), Iowa State's Ruby Chou (-1), Kentucky's Laney Frye (E), Purdue's Kan Bunnabodee (E), and Iowa State's Taglao Jeeravivitaporn (E) are the leaders for the two individual spots. Liu is a stroke back of the even-par group, at +1. As a team, Princeton stands 10 strokes back of Purdue and Northwestern, at +18.
