No. 6 Princeton Men's Lightweight Crew Races At Easterns Sunday

WORCESTER – The No. 6 Princeton men's lightweight team makes the trip to the Eastern Sprints on Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond.
The Tigers last raced on Apr. 30, dropping a 6.4-second decision to No. 1 Yale. Head coach Marty Crotty's group has won against Harvard, Delaware, Dartmouth, Mercyhurst, MIT, Columbia, and Georgetown this season.
The Eastern Sprints have not been run since 2019. Princeton last earned a medal, securing a silver medal in 2018. The Tigers has finished in the top five every year since 2006. The 1V last won at Easterns in 2009-10.
The heats for the lightweight group get underway with the 3V at 8:36 a.m. The 1V races at 10 a.m., with the 2V at 10:48 a.m. The 4V's grand final is at 2 p.m.
