Women's Volleyball Unveils 2022 Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University women's volleyball Head Coach Sabrina King announced the team's schedule for the upcoming season Thursday, as the Tigers look to reclaim the Ivy League Championship and return to the NCAA Tournament in 2022.
The Tigers' schedule includes eight matches inside Dillon Gymnasium, three tournaments, as well as four matches against opponents who played in the 2021 NCAA Tournament; Towson, Sacred Heart, and two against Brown.
Regular season play opens inside SECU Arena, with three matches at the Towson Tournament. On Friday, September 2, Princeton takes on both Morgan State and Towson, before a matchup with Radford on Saturday, September 3.
The Sacred Heart Invitational follows inside the William H. Pitt Center, with the Tigers taking on both Stony Brook and SHU on Saturday, September 10, and Seton Hall on Sunday, September 11. The Tigers' home opener is up next, when it hosts Rider on Wednesday, September 14 inside Dillon Gymnasium.
Tournament play resumes for Princeton at the Rutgers Tournament in Piscataway, New Jersey; the Tigers face Florida International and Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, September 17, and the host Scarlet Knights in their final non-conference regular season match of the season Sunday, September 18. All three matches take place inside Jersey Mike's Arena.
Ivy League opens at home against the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, September 23, before back-to-back road contests at Dartmouth on Friday, September 30, and at Harvard on Saturday, October 1. Princeton then returns to Dillon Gymnasium for a pair of contests against Cornell on Friday, October 7, and Columbia on Saturday, October 8.
The Tigers then take on defending Ivy League Champions Brown for the first time in 2022 on Saturday, October 15, in Providence, Rhode Island, before a second-straight road match against Penn inside the Palestra on Saturday, October 15.
A matchup with Harvard on Friday, October 28 at home begins a four-match homestand, which always features contests against Dartmouth on Saturday, October 29, Brown on Friday, November 4, and Yale on Saturday, November 5. Regular season play concludes for Princeton with two-straight road matches, first in New York, New York, against Columbia on Friday, November 11, then in Ithaca, New York, against Cornell on Saturday, November 12.
