Tiger Trio Earns AHCA All-American Scholar Honors

In recognition of their performance academically and commitment on the ice, Daniella Calabrese, Sharon Frankel and Annie Kuehl have been recognized as Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association, the organization has announced.
Calabrese, a rising junior, played in all 33 games last season, scoring a goal against Dartmouth on Feb. 13 and had assists in each of the two games against Brown, on Oct. 30 and Feb. 18. Calabrese is a student in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
Frankel, who graduated in June with her economics degree, co-captained the Tigers last season and had three goals and 10 assists, tied for second on the team with the 10 helpers. Frankel's 13 points were tied for fourth on the team, and Frankel had two goals and two assists over the three-game ECAC Hockey playoff series against top-seeded Harvard. Princeton became the first eighth-seeded team in ECAC Hockey history to defeat the top-seeded team in a three-game series. Frankel completes her Tiger career going four for four in earning the AHCAÂ All-American Scholar honor.
Kuehl, a rising junior and a sociology major, set a career best with 10 goals and 16 points last season, including a three-point game at Syracuse on Dec. 10 with a goal and two assists. Kuehl also had a goal in the opening-game win of the ECAC Hockey series at Harvard. Kuehl's 10 goals and 16 points were both second on the team.Â
