Princeton Rowing Continues Wonderful Run At World Rowing Championships

PRINCETON – Princeton Rowing saw more rowers advance to the next stage of competition during the second day of action at the U19/U23 World Rowing Championships.
"It was great to see the bounce back for some of our guys after their first row," said Princeton head coach Greg Hughes. "It's shaping up to be an outstanding World Championships for the Tigers."
Erik Spinka, Zach Vachal, Nathan Phelps of the U23 United States 4+ took care of business in its repechage (6:11.97) with almost a five-second victory to move to the final on July 29th.
Floyd Benedikter and Nick Taylor of the U23 United States 2- won its repechage by over 2.5 seconds (6:39.45) and now get the opportunity in the A/B Semifinals tomorrow.
Marcus Chute '26 (U19 Great Britain 1X) won his heat (7:03.01) to advance to the quarterfinals which begin on Friday.
Reuben Cook '26 of the U23 New Zealand's LM2X was fourth in his repechage and will race in the C Final on July 29th.
Anna Menke '26 of the U19 Netherlands won its heat (7:08.18) to move to the semifinals on Saturday.
