January 12, 2023 | Men's Track and Field
Princeton N.J. - The Princeton University men's track and field team is set to take on the Naval Academy in a dual meet on Saturday, January 14th inside the Wesley A. Brown field house for the team's first meet of 2023.
Princeton will also be represented at this year's National Pole Vault Summit on Friday January 13th - 14th in Reno, Nevada at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.
Navy Dual
Last time out for the Tigers at the Joe Handelman Invitational, freshman Greg Foster recorded a top-10 school performance in the Men's Long Jump with a 7.67 m leap, placing his performance at the No. 4 best in program history.
The first-year hurdler and jumper has already made an impact at Princeton and is sure to continue to be a major contributor for the Tigers. Earlier this season, Foster recorded another top-10 performance within the Men's 60m Hurdles. He finished with a time of 8.06 at the TCNJ Indoor Open, to place his name at the No.9 spot.
In their most recent outing at the Navy Invitational, the Midshipmen recorded 18 IC4A qualifying marks. In the 2021-2022 season, Navy defeated Princeton at the Navy Dual Meet, despite the Tigers setting six top-10 school performances.
Saturday's meet will kick off at 10:00 a.m. in Wesley A. Brown Field House with the men's Weight Throw and High Jump.
