St. Rose Shines As Women's Basketball Defeats Hartford, 84-37

PRINCETON - 14 different players scored for the Women's Basketball team as it dropped the Hartford Hawks, 84-37, at Jadwin Gym on Thursday evening.
Madison St. Rose broke her season best for the second straight game with 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Maggie Connolly contributed 11 points and four assists. Amelia Osgood set career highs in points (eight) and rebounds (six) while Katie Thiers had a new personal best with eight points in the victory.
Princeton scored 11 of the first 14 points and eventually held a 26-10 advantage after 10 minutes. St. Rose outscored Hartford in that stretch with 11 points while the home unit was 11-of-17 shooting (64.7 percent). The Tigers allowed just three baskets in the second quarter and led 49-16 at halftime. Head coach Carla Berube's squad outscored Hartford by 14 in the second half to finish off the contest.
The Tigers dished out 28 assists, two shy of the program record. They scored 30 points off 20 Hawks turnovers as well.
Princeton continues its home stand with Brown on Saturday (2 p.m.) and Penn on Monday (2 p.m.). Both games can be seen on SNY and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
