Men's Swimming & Diving Downs Yale, Falls to Harvard at HYP

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team earned a 231-122 victory over Yale, but fell just short to Harvard, 181-172, in a meet that went down to the wire Saturday afternoon at Blodgett Pool.
The Crimson also defeated the Bulldogs, 239-113.
The Tigers earned two out of the top three finishes in the 200 breaststroke, with Raunak Khosla winning the event in an NCAA B cut time of 1:54.97, and Joshua Brown finishing third in 1:58.08. Khosla and Brown repeated those results in the 200 IM, with Khosla finishing first with a time of 1:44.86, also an NCAA B cut, and Brown third with a time of 1:46.78.
In the 200 medley relay, the team of Tyler Hong, Kael Mlinek, Nicholas Lim and Brett Feyerick finished second in 1:26.80. Hong also finished second in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall at 1:43.50 and earning an NCAA B cut.
Princeton would also finish second in the 400 freestyle relay, as Mitch Schott, Max Walther, Adell Sabovic and Khosla clocked in at 2:55.33.
The 500 freestyle saw Schott touch the wall second with a time of 4:22.02, and John Ehling third in 4:22.11.
On the 1-meter board, Taso Callanan finished second with a scorer of 320.50, and NCAA Zone cut.
Lim would also earn a third-place finish and an NCAA B cut in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 47.07.
Walther also finished third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44.16.

The Tigers begin competition at the Ivy League Championships on Wednesday, February 22, at 5 p.m. in Providence, Rhode Island.
