Men's Soccer Ends Match Against Brown in a Scoreless Draw

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton men's soccer team (4-6-2) ended its match in a scoreless draw against Brown this evening at Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.
How It Happened
The first half was a heavily contested, defensive battle that only saw a total of 2 shots for the Tigers. Jack Jasinski and Daniel Ittycheria put pressure on the Brown defense early with a free kick and a header respectively in the 11th minute that both came up short.
The Tigers found its first real scoring opportunity in the 27th minute with Nico Nee's shot to the low left of the cage, but Brown's keeper made the save to keep the match scoreless.
The freshman Kevin Kelley was an attacking threat for the Tigers in the first 45 minutes. With multiple crossing opportunities and numerous fast breaks, Kelley gave Princeton many quality scoring chances.
The match was tied 0-0 going into the half.
The Tigers came out of the half with a lot of energy and an early steal on the opening kickoff, unfortunately it did not lead to a scoring result. Nee, who took one shot in the first half, took another early in the second half and nearly missed left.
Goalkeeper William Watson delivered a huge save for the Tigers in the 54th minute on Brown's shot that nearly found the back of the net.
After taking only two shots in the first half, the Tigers took 11 shots in the second but were unable to convert any of them into a goal. The match ended scoreless, 0-0.
