
Bedlam At Baker Rink! Robbins Rocks The House With OT Winner

With time winding down, Robbins wound up in the neutral zone and navigated through all three Bulldogs before pulling to his backhand and flipping home his second career overtime game-inner to set off a raucous celebration.
The win capped a fantastic home opener for the fans in Baker Rink who saw the two teams combined for nine goals.Rockin' Robbins!

David Jacobs had a goal and two assists, including a helper while falling to the ice deep in his own end to spring Robbins on the game-winner. Brendan Gorman had two assists.
Arthur Smith made 24 saves for his first collegiate win.
Kai Daniells struck first for the Tigers, potting his first home goal 2:48 into the game off an assist from David Jacobs. It was a strong forecheck from Jacobs which caused a Yale turnover and sprung him to goal. His original offering bounced around and found Daniells at the far post for a quick shot and score.
Nick Carabin one-timed home a power-play goal 8:01 into the first period to stake the Tigers to a 2-0 lead. A clean faceoff win led to a quick goal, Princeton needing just 0:08 of the man advantage before Nick Seitz fed from behind the end line to a wide open Carabin for the score.Lighting The Home Lamp!

Yale tied the game with a pair of 4-on-4 goals from David Chen and Rhys Bentham less than 10 seconds apart late in the first period.Powerin' Up!

Princeton would respond with an early PPG in the second period, with Jacobs the one to connect on a one-timer this time just 2:04 into the second frame with assists from Ian Murphy and Brendan Gorman.
Jaxson Ezman flipped home his second goal of the season, with a second-chance rebound marker with 6:33 left in the middle period. Noah de la Durantaye had the primary assist with his wrister towards goal and Gorman had the other helper.DJ... Spin That Good Stuff!

In the third, Yale rallied back with a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes of the frame to tie the game. The Tigers pushed in the final minutes of regulation with four shots in the final 1:22, but were unable to find the winner before regulation expired.
In overtime, the Tigers through they had secured the win halfway through when a Brendan Gorman backhander hit the crossbar and then bounced off the goaline and out. The call on the ice was originally a goal, and the Tigers celebrated as such. However, a quick video review was enough to overturn the call and restart play.
The next shot was the winning one, as Robbins scooped up a Jacobs pass and navigated through the opposition towards the highlight reel and Hobey Baker history.
Princeton returns to action on Saturday night, taking on Brown at 7 p.m.
