PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team resumes Ivy League competition against the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell in a tri-meet inside DeNunzio Pool at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18.

Last Time Out
Princeton moved to 3-0 in Ivy League competition with a 202-95 home victory over Columbia on Nov. 10.

Building Off A Strong 2022-23
The Tigers ended the 2022-23 season ranked No. 24 in the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) dual meet rankings, marking the first time in program history the Tigers ended a season ranked inside the national top-25.

At the Ivy League Championships, where Raunak Khosla '23 was named High Point Swimmer of the Meet and Career High Point Swimmer, the Tigers finished a close second to Harvard.

2022-23 NCAA Qualifiers
Last season, the Tigers had five qualify for the NCAA Championships. The group included Khosla, Nic Lim, George Callanan, Taso Callanan and Joe Victor.

All-Ivy in 2022-23
Khosla collected First Team All-Ivy Honors in three individual events and one relay. He was named to the First Team in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 butterfly and 800 freestyle relay, alongside Nicholas Lim, Mitch Schott and Max Walther.

After finishing as runner up in the 200 butterfly, Lim earned Second Team All-Ivy honors in the event. Lucas Strøbek collected Second Team All-Ivy honors in the 400 IM, after finishing as runner up. Additionally, John Ehling was named Second Team All-Ivy in the 1650 freestyle.

Princeton earned Second Team All-Ivy honors in the 200 medley relay after the team of Tyler Hong, Kael Mlinek, Conor McKenna and Brett Feyerick finished second.

The quartet of Hong, Khosla, Lim and Schott was also named Second Team All-Ivy in the 400 medley relay.

Eight Newcomers
The Tigers' Class of 2027 consists of Arthur Balva, Connor Buck, Luca Fassi, Parker Lenoce, Daniel Li, Noah Sech, Aidan Wang and Yanning Zhang.

New Faces On Deck
The Tigers welcome a pair of new assistant coaches, Chris Balbo and Mia Nonnenberg. A 2020 graduate of William & Mary, Balbo was a contributor to four Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship teams. A three-time CAA Champion in the 400 IM, 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle, Balbo was a nine-time CAA medalist and a school record holder in the 800 freestyle. He was also holds the freshman record in the 400 IM along with dual meet records in the 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 400 IM. Additionally, Balbo holds William & Mary pool records in the 400 IM and 1000 freestyle. A US Open qualifier, Balbo was also a US Open Water Nationals qualifier.

Nonnenberg joins the Tigers from Penn State, where since August 2021 she served as an assistant coach. She assisted the Nittany Lions to 14 new program top-10 performances five school records within the women's program along with 23 men's new top-10 performances, an NCAA All-American Honorable Mention and six program records. She led the middle distance and distance group to eight program top-10 program finishes and several best times, and coached athletes internationally to the 2023 World Championships, as well as Bermudan, Swedish and Brazilian top-five finishers in the national championships of their respective countries. Nonnenberg also contributed to both men's and women's recruiting through organizing official visits, initial contacts and at-home visits while also managing equipment ordering and inventory allocations, serving as a direct liaison to sales departments.
