Tigers Atop Leaderboards After First Round at Columbia Classic

Following a 6-under first round Saturday at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla., the Princeton women's golf team will enter Sunday's second round atop both the team and individual leaderboards at the Columbia Classic.

Princeton leads second-place Texas Tech (-2) by four strokes. The team's first-round score of 282 is the second-best in program history and the best away from Princeton's home course at Springdale Golf Club, behind only the 280 Princeton turned in at the 2021 Princeton Invitational.

Victoria Liu and Yu Kyung Kim co-lead in the chase for medalist honors along with Penn State's Mathilde Delavallade at -3, one stroke in front of Texas Tech's Lauren Zaretsky.

Play will begin at 8 a.m. for Sunday's second round with the first tee time for Princeton's scoring lineup at 9:40 a.m. Individuals Caris Kim and Sophie Zhang-Murphy will tee off at 9 and 9:20 a.m. respectively. Live scoring will be available here.
