Lucas and Davidson Pick Up CWPA Weekly Awards

PRINCETON – Lindsey Lucas and Shanna Davidson secured Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors.
Lucas was named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career. She made nine saves as the Tigers defeated No. 21 LIU and followed that with 10 stops vs. Villanova. Lucas only allowed a season-low three goals as Princeton dropped Mt. St. Mary's, adding seven saves.
Davidson corralled Rookie of the Week after scoring nine times over the weekend as Princeton went 3-0. The freshman scored five times and drew two ejections in a win over Villanova and followed with four more tallies vs. Mt. St. Mary's.
