No. 24 Men's Swimming & DIving Remains in Second After Three Days of Competition at Ivy Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After three days of the competition at the Ivy League Championships at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatic Center, the No. 24 Princeton University men's swimming & diving team trails No. 22 Harvard by just 16 points.
At the conclusion of the third day, the Crimson have 1025 points, the Tigers 1009 and Yale, who sits third, has 698.
400 IM
Raunak Khosla added his second individual title at the 2023 Ivy League Championships, winning the 400 IM for the third time in his career with an NCAA B cut time of 3:41.95. Lucas Strøbek finished second with a time of 3:46.08, the fourth-fastest time in school history and an NCAA B cut. Peyton Werner also came in sixth after touching the wall at 3:51.42.
In the B final, Hunter Kim finished with a time of 3:50.89 to earn a second-place finish.
400 Medley Relay
The quartet of Tyler Hong, Khosla, Nicholas Lim and Mitch Schott finished second in a school record time of 3:05.98. The Tigers also earned an NCAA B cut time in the 400 medley relay.
200 Freestyle
Three from Princeton made it to the A final of the 200 freestyle, with Schott earning a third-place finish and setting a Princeton freshman record in an NCAA B cut time of 1:34.08, Max Walther tying for fifth and earning an NCAA B cut in 1:35.83 and Lucas Tudoras finishing eighth in 1:37.11.
Billy Swartwout clocked in at 1:36.50 to win the B final
1000 Freestyle
Two Tigers advanced to the A final, with John Ehling setting a new school record and finishing third in 8:54.78. Ehling bested the previous program record of 8:54.90 set by Paul Nolle '14. Dylan Porges finished fourth in 8:57.14 and Hunter Kim also scored for Princeton, finishing 13th in 9:15.24.
100 Backstroke
With a time of 47.24, Hong finished third while Brett Feyerick finished seventh in 47.58.
100 Butterfly
Lim touched the wall at 45.87 to finish third, while Conor McKenna's time of 47.59 saw him take eighth. Max Kreidl finished eighth in the B final, clocking in at 52.52.
100 Breaststroke
Joshua Brown took third in the B final with a time of 53.31, and Kael Mlinek sixth in 54.09.

The Tigers also sent swimmers to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC) Championships in Annapolis, Maryland.
The Tigers begin day two at the Ivy League Championships with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. Max Hunger touched the wall at 4:25.11 to win the 500 freestyle, while Rasmus Makela took ninth in 4:32.28 and Daniel Kim 15th in 4:35.28.
In the 200 IM, Max Seidel finished in 1:47.86 to earn a first-place finish and James Pan came in second in 1:48.53.
The quartet of James Pan, Seidel, Mike Scornavacca and Hunger finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:20.54.
The Team of Finn Dowdall, Scornavacca, Cameron Matthews and Zev Schuman finished third in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.49.
Dowdall took fifth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.58.
