Men’s Track and Field set for BU David Hemery Valentine and Fastrack Invitational

Princeton, N.J. - Following an impressive showing from Sondre Guttormsen in New Mexico, the Princeton men will be splitting for two meets this upcoming weekend in Boston and New York.
On Friday February 10th the Tigers will represent at the Fastrack Invitational in Staten Island N.Y. and on Saturday, February 11th, Princeton will be competing at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts.
This week, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its' third edition of the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index, with the Princeton Men's Track and Field Team ranked at No. 20 in the nation.
The Tigers have four top-20 marks in the nation, including Sondre Guttormsen (5.90 m) and Simen Guttormsen (5.55 m) ranking first and ninth in the pole vault, Sam Rodman (1:47.49) ranking tenth in the 800m, and Greg Foster (7.89m) ranking sixth in the long jump.
The upcoming weekend provides another opportunity for Princeton to put their hard work and talent on display in preparation for the upcoming Indoor Heptagonal Championships.
