Women's Water Polo Nabs Two Victories on Day One of the Aztec Invitational

San Diego, CA - The No. 13 Women's Water Polo Team earned two victories to kick off the first day of competition at the Aztec Invitational.
Princeton 15, San Diego State 8
Princeton dominated Saturday's match offensively holding the lead throughout the entirety of the match that featured nine different scorers.
As a team, Princeton totaled .682 shooting percentage and took a dominant victory on the West Coast. Kate Mallery and Annie Robinson both led the Tigers in goals with three each.
The Tigers ran out to a 6-2 lead after eight minutes and led 10-4 at the break. San Diego State closed the gap to four right before the end of the third quarter, but Princeton pitched a shutout in the fourth stanza to earn the decision.

Princeton came out on fire, outscoring Siena 6-0 in the first quarter. The Tigers did not allow a goal for the first 10:28 of game action and were not threatened. The Tigers had 10 different scorers with Kaila Carroll pacing the offense with five.
