
No. 15 Seed Men's Basketball to Face No. 2 Seed Arizona in NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 15 seed Princeton University men's basketball team will open play in the NCAA Tournament against No. 2 seed Arizona in the Round of 64 in the South Regional on Thursday, March 16, in Sacramento, California.

Princeton received a No. 15 seed after going 21-8 overall, and winning both the Ivy League Tournament and Regular Season Championships.
The Tigers and the Wildcats have met one time previously; on Friday, December 27, 1985, inside the McKale Center in a contest that saw Arizona prevail 54-41.

The Tigers will be making their 26th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, and first since 2017. It will also be Princeton's second NCAA Tournament appearance under Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson.
