Baseball Ready For Dartmouth; Series Schedule Moves Around Due To Weather

PRINCETON – Due to the weather forecast this weekend, the baseball team's series vs. Dartmouth will change to single games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Mar. 24-26).
The Tigers and Big Green will play Friday at 2:30 p.m. The teams will decide by 6 p.m. Friday whether to play Saturday at 1 p.m. If the Ivy foes do play, there will be one more contest on Sunday at 12 p.m.
If Saturday is washed out, the Tigers and Big Green will play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 11 a.m.
Princeton is 6-11 this season, earning wins over Georgia, Duke, Richmond, Cincinnati and SC Upstate. Scott Bandura leads the team in hitting at .313, adding three home runs and 10 RBI. Kyle Vinci leads the team in slugging at .600, bashing five home runs and 10 extra base hits.
Justin Kim has the best ERA on the staff with a 3.45 mark in 15 2/3 relief frames. Jacob Faulkner has three saves with 16 punchouts in 20 1/3 innings of work. Tom Chmielewski was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week following his complete game victory over Cincinnati. He has 21 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings.
Dartmouth is 1-12 this season with a decision over USF. Tyler Cox leads the squad with a .449 average and 1.081 OPS. The Big Green have four hitters with at least a .300 average with Cox, Kolton Freeman, Tyler Robinson and Elliot Krewson. Dartmouth's pitching staff has produced a 10.05 ERA this season.
