Men's Track and Field Squad Impresses at Texas Relays

Austin, Texas - The Princeton men's track team competed on Thursday, March 30th - Friday March 31st at the Texas Relays hosted at Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field.

Princeton competed among some of the nation's top, collegiate athletes in Texas and ended their trip to Austin with several, standout performances.

In the men's 400m hurdles, Chris Paige finished among the top-20 in 19th place with a time of 53.98. William Doyle also impressed, crossing the finish line at 56.06.

In the men's discus, Casey Helm threw for a distance of 54.72 meters, to earn himslef a seventh place finish.

Helm has been off to a strong start for the 2023 outdoor season. At the Penn Challenge, Helm executed a Princeton top-ten performance in the discus throw with a mark of 54.75m to earn himself a spot at number seven.

In the men's 110m hurdles, Easton Tan finished with a time of 14.33, while teammate Jovan Aigbekaen finished in 14.79.

At last weekends' Navy Invitational, Tan recorded the fifth, best Princeton performance in the 110m hurdles, finishing in 14.29.

Daniel Duncan ran in the first round of the 100m, to finish in 10.50 and the team of Joey Gant, William Doyle, Ibrahim Ayorinde, and and Andersen Dimon ran in the first round of the 4x400 relay, finishing with a time of 3:11.65.

The Princeton men's track and field team put in an impressive effort at the Texas Relays, strongly representing the Tigers on a national scale.
