Men's Track & Field Impresses at Big 5 Invitational

Final Results
Philadelphia, PA - Princeton men's track and field team competed in the Big 5 Invitational and finished the day with some impressive performances at Franklin Field.Â
In the 800m race, the Tigers dominated with Ethan Reese finishing first with a time of 1:51.99 and Duncan Miller coming in second with a time of 1:52.19.
Connor Chen also finished in eighth with a time of 1:53.29.
In the 110m hurdles, Albert Kreutzer competed for Princeton, finishing in fourth place with a time of 14.75.
Isa Hitchens ran in both the 200m and 400m races, finishing 10th in the 200m with a time of 22.4Â and 9th in the 400m with a time of 50.03.
The Tigers also had a strong showing in the Men's Discus Throw with Avery Shunneson finishing first with a throw of 54.32m. Shunneson's performance will maintain his No. 10 spot on the Princeton all-time performance list.Â
Joe Licata finished second with a throw of 49.51m and Tyler Konopka finished in third with a throw of 47.55m.
In the Men's Shot Put, Tyler Konopka finished in first with a throw of 17.31m and Joe Licata placed third with his throw of 15.75m.
In the Men's Triple Jump, Ilay Furman finished second with a jump of 13.90m and David Amelemah finished fourth with a jump of 13.32m.
The Princeton men's track and field team had a strong performance at the Big 5 Invitational, and continues to show promising potential and success for the remainder of the outdoor season.
