Lucas and Davidson Collect Back-To-Back CWPA Weekly Accolades

PRINCETON – In what is becoming a weekly habit, Lindsey Lucas (Defensive Player) and Shanna Davidson (Rookie) earned Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors.
This is the second straight week the Princeton duo has won accolades. Lucas has corralled eight selections this season and one every week the Tigers have played except for one. Davidson has three weekly accolades this year.
Lucas is on a run of six games out of seven with 10+ saves. She had 12 stops in an 12-10 overtime win over No. 14 Harvard and followed that with 13 saves at No. 20 Brown
Davidson scored a goal and had two assists at No. 14 Harvard along with three drawn ejections in an overtime decision. She later scored a goal and put up a helper in the 8-5 victory over No. 20 Brown.
The Tigers take on No. 12 Michigan on Saturday at 11 a.m. before battling Bucknell later in the day at 6 p.m. Princeton finishes off the weekend on Sunday vs. St. Francis at 10:30 a.m. With a win over the Wolverines, Princeton will clinch the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament (Apr. 28-30).
Princeton is currently in a tie for No. 6 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Top-25 poll which is tied for the best mark in program history. (2015, final poll).
