ITHACA – The No. 1 Princeton men's lightweight rowing team fell to the No. 12 Cornell Big Red this afternoon.
The Big Red (5:52.05) began the day with a 14.6-second win at 3V before earning the Platt Cup (5:41.75) by 2.5 seconds over Princeton (5:44.25).
The Tigers earned a victory at 2V (5:45.05) by 1.18 seconds over the Big Red (5:46.23) before Cornell's 4V picked up a decision.
Head coach Marty Crotty's unit heads to Philadelphia to take on Penn next week.
