The Princeton women's track and field team continues to make history in Charlottesville.
On the final day of coemption at the UVA Challenge, freshman jumper Alexandra Kelly set a new school record in the long jump with a mark of 6.04m.
Just one day prior on day two of the UVA Challenge, Kelly set a new school record in the triple jump, finishing with a personal best mark of 12.96m.
Kelly's best long jump of her series (6.13m) does not count as the school record, because of high wind readings, but her 6.04m mark was recorded with a legal wind speed and will count as the new all-time Princeton best.
Teammate Georgina Scoot also impressed in the long jump on Saturday, placing within the top ten with a mark of 5.84m.
Madeleine Wood continues to be a force in the high jump. Wood took a fourth-place finish overall clearing an impressive 1.70m.
In the 4x100m relay, the squad of Brianna Mponzi, Adelaide Asante, Harlowe-Brumett-Dunn, and Olivia Hee crossed the finish line at 46.45 to finish in sixth place overall.
Other notable showings from the Tigers include Adelaide Asante's performance in the 400m hurdles. Asante finished in 1:02.07 to earn a new season best and eighth place finish overall.
In the 800m final, both Charlotte O'Toole and Paola Rodriguez recorded new personal bests with O'Toole finishing in 2:10.12 and Rodriguez in 2:10.78.
Rutgers Relays
Back in the garden state, a squad of Tigers represented Princeton at the Rutgers Relays.
Madeline Wolford impressed in the hammer throw, finishing in second place with a mark of 49.89m. In the discus throw, Wolford placed fifth, covering a distance of 38.55m.
In the 200m dash, Maisha Atkinson took a second-place finish at 24.48. Angela Allen placed fourth in the 1500m, coming in at 4:48.48. In the 400m dash, Maisha Atkinson finished in tenth at 59.97 to close out Saturday competition for the Tigers.
