No. 10 Women's Water Polo Advances To CWPA Championship Game

PRINCETON – The No. 10 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team took care of the Saint Francis Red Flashes in the CWPA Semifinals, 8-3.
Rachael Carver got the scoring started with the only tally of the first quarter. Princeton's defense shined holding St. Francis off the scoreboard for the first 19:25 of game action. The Tigers ripped off the first five tallies and quickly answered with a goal a minute after St. Francis scored.
The Red Flashes got within three with 5:28 to go in the game, but Carver recorded her third goal of the contest to put the game.
Princeton will play the winner of Harvard and Michigan in the CWPA Championship Sunday at 12 p.m. The Tigers have not won a CWPA title since 2015.
