PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior Kathleen Bishop along with sophomores Mariah Haislip and Gracie Wood will serve as captains of the Princeton University women's volleyball team in 2023, as announced by Head Coach Sabrina King Thursday.
"I'm beyond excited to have Kathleen, Mariah and Gracie leading us in 2023," said King. "They've been an integral part of the culture of our program since they stepped foot on campus, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish with them leading the way."
Princeton is coming off a 2022 campaign that saw it finish with a 21-4 overall record, along with a 13-1 record in Ivy League play on route to the Tigers' 19th Ivy League Championship. In addition, the Tigers were NCAA Statistical Championships in assists per set (13.80) and finished second in the nation in kills per set (14.74), 17th in hitting percentage (.275) and 31st in digs per set (5.11).
