Sondre Guttormsen Named to 2023 Men's Post-Outdoor Conference Championships Watch List for the Bowerman

Princeton N.J. – Senior, Sondre Guttormsen has been named to the 2023 Men's Post-Outdoor Conference Championship Watch List for the Bowerman, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Guttormsen has made his presence upon the watch list known. He is one of just ten athletes on the official list and has previously been listed upon every edition of the watch list released in 2023.

Guttormsen was most recently crowned an Ivy League Pole Vault Champion for the fourth consecutive time, winning both the indoor and outdoor titles for 2022-2023.

Prior to this years' Outdoor Ivy Heps Championships, Guttormsen had a standout, PR performance at the Texas Invitational, setting a new school and Ivy League record, as well as the new world lead.

Guttormsen's vault of 5.90m is a new Norwegian outdoor record and currently ranks as the highest vault in the NCAA.

With the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds set to begin on May 24th - 27th in Jacksonville, Florida, Guttormsen, will be making his second appearance at an NCAA Regional as he also qualified in 2022 and later on went on to earn the 2022 NCAA pole vault champion title.

His mark of 5.90m currently ranks No. 1 in the region. Guttormsen's showing in Jacksonville will begin his quest to earn his fourth, consecutive pole-vault NCAA championship at Princeton.
